Frieda Seyer receives 2016 Distinguished Graduate Award

Frieda Seyer was the recipient of the 2016 Distinguished Graduate Award presented by the St. Mary Cathedral School Board. Seyer is a 1946 graduate of St. Mary Cathedral School. She is a lifelong member of the Parish and has been active in school and Parish activities her entire life. Frieda and her husband Joe raised eight children, all of whom attended St. Mary Cathedral School.

Valdis Zalite, president of the St. Mary School Board, presented the award at an all-school assembly on Monday, Feb. 1, in conjunction with Catholic Schools Week activities. Relatives and friends attended the assembly and a reception that followed.
