Family of the late Frank & Edith Farrar, formerly of Advance, Missouri gathered for a their annual family reunion, ice cream making (6 freezers full this year)and fireworks. Folks from Missouri, California (thanks Shari! for the rogue fireworks display), Ohio, Georgia, Kansas, and Texas attended this year.
Seated in the chairs in front are the children of Frank and Edith and one son-in-law. They are daughters Verda Minton and Emma Jane Henrichsen, son Bill Farrar, Sr., son in-law James Bowers (husband of the late Dorothy), and daughter Alice Faye Ketcher. Son in-law Jack Ketcher is in the back row, sixth from the left.
The rest are grand children, great grand children, a cousin (and her spouse) and one very good friend and hostess.
A good time was had by all.
My favorite quote by Frank Farrar: "The problem with people today, is too many people let other people do their thinkin' for 'em."
