Perryville High School senior Jake Dobbelare has signed a letter of intent to play baseball for Southwest Illinois College. He is pictured seated with his parents Shane and Judy Dobbelare of Perryville. Back --Head baseball coach Don O'Keefe and PHS athletic director Jeff Steffens. Dobbelare, who is a pitcher and first baseman for the Pirates, will join the SWIC Blue Storm team lead by Coach Neil Fiala. At PHS, Dobbelare is in NHS and FBLA. He was also a varsity basketball player, and he plans to major in Architectural Engineering.
