I received an email today from the folks from the Liberty Restoration project which stated:

"Friends in the press;

Members of the Liberty Restoration Project (of Kansas City) were thrown out of the Mo Governors office by the Highway patrol this morning.

They are in Jeff City today to help gain support for Rep Jim Guest's anti-Real ID bill. Senator Charlie Shields is blocking this bill from going to the Senate floor for a vote, despite passing out of its senate committee unanimously and passing out of the house. This group participated in the Kansas City Tea Party at the Liberty Memorial. Catherine Bleish, executive director of the Liberty Restoration Project was the MC for the tea party April 15 "

It was my hope that by voting for Governor Nixon last November I would be voting for a true Missouri Democrat, who would hold Conservative / Centrist values.

Sadly this is not the case as the Governor feels more inclined to act the part of a puppet for the Obama administration and thumb his nose at Constitutional rights and Missouri values.

There is , however; one question that must be asked. By having the State Highway Patrol remove members of the Liberty Restoration Project from the Governor's office, did Governor Nixon's actions help push HB 361 out of committee?

Later I received yet another email. This one was from the folks over at the Daily Paul website:

"GOOD NEWS!

BUT KEEP THE PRESSURE ON

KEEP CALLING - it's working!

(1) Rep. Guest just informed us that Sen. Shields agreed to release HB-361 (Anti-REAL ID Act) from Committee and will allow it to be voted on by the full Senate.

HOORAY! Your pressure worked on Sen. Shields.

ACTION ITEM - CONTINUE CALLING TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY ON HB-361.

Now, we MUST call our own Senators asking them to vote, "YES", on HB-361 to support our freedoms. (Contact your MO senator)

HB-361 specifies that an applicant for a driver's license, non-driver's license, or instruction permit cannot have his/her privacy rights violated with obtaining or renewing a driver's license.

If this Bill is not passed by the full MO Senate, the Feds will mandate a government-issued ID.

(2) HCR-13 (Tenth Amendment - State Sovereignty) is still stuck in the Rules Committee. Action Item - Continue Calling these Members of the Cmte on Tuesday and Wednesday Ask them to please bring up HCR-13 for a "do pass" vote to get out of Cmte and into the full Senate for a vote before session closes on May 15.

Remember after all the MIAC and Homeland Security garbage labeling Ron Paul supporters, Chuck Baldwin, and Bob Barr supporters as possible terrorist."

Please email your state senator and voice your support for HB-361 and HCR-13. You can find a list of Missouri's state senators at:
