Local observation of Church Women United's May Friendship Day will be Friday evening, May 7th, at the First Presbyterian Church of Jackson (206 E. Washington - NE of the Courthouse). After a covered dish supper at 6:00 pm (bread and drinks provided), the program will include award of the 2010 Nursing Scholarship by committee chairman Roberta Brown. Shirley Hutton, chr. of the event, Debra Tracy and Louise Duncan will lead the program: "Building a World Fit For All God's Children".
