Children, ages 3-12, can learn quick and easy cooking techniques this summer with the Cape Girardeau Parks and Recreation Department through the following classes:

Yummy Tummy

Little chefs, ages 3 to 5, will explore the cooking world by learning to make nutritious and delicious treats and snacks. Participants will make items like parfaits, cupcakes and more. Register by June 4.

Course Dates: Thursdays at 11 a.m., June 7-28

Course Location: Shawnee Park Center Kitchen

$30 Residents; $35 Non-residents

Junior Chef's Cooking Club

Each week, kids age 6-12 will make and eat a special treat while learning about measuring, why food changes as it cooks and kitchen safety. Register by May 30.

Session 2, Ages 9-12: Wednesdays at 12:30 p.m., June 6-20

Course Location: A. C. Brase Arena

$25 Residents; $28 Non-residents

Culture Cafe

Ages 6 to 10 are invited to join us as we cook delicious dishes from all over the world and learn fun facts about different countries. Register by June 21.
