The American Red Cross Southeast Missouri Chapter received a $1,000 donation from Commerce Bank. With this donation Commerce Bank was recognized as a Hero for the American Red Cross, helping to ensure the Red Cross has the financial resources to help families and meet its commitments to the community.

"Because of the generosity and support of Commerce Bank and other donors, those in Southeast Missouri can get the short term relief they need in the aftermath of a disaster, such as a home fire" said Cheryl Klueppel, Executive Director of the American Red Cross Southeast MO Chapter.

Every day the American Red Cross provides assistance to people in need free of charge. In Southeast Missouri, your contributions mean a great deal to the organization but even more to the families who rely on the Red Cross to help them through some of the most difficult times of their lives. "At Commerce Bank, giving back to the community is ingrained in our culture. We are only as strong as the communities in which we do business. The American Red Cross is a wonderful organization and we are proud to partner with them as they provide critical services to our community" states David Shell, Sr. Vice President of Commercial Loans for Commerce Bank.
