City of Roses Half Marathon/5K

The Cape Girardeau Road Runners along with sponsors Healthpoint Plaza, River Eagle Distributing, and Ghisallo Running will host the 30th annual City of Roses Half Marathon/5K Sunday September 19th at Healthpoint Plaza in Cape. The proceeds from this even go to support youth running in the area.

The course winds through historic "Old Town Cape", past the river murals, near the Southeast Missouri State River Campus down the Cape LaCroix Creek bike trail, through surrounding neighborhoods and back to HealthPoint Plaza. There are moderate hills on the course

5k course will start and finish at HealthPoint Plaza after looping through the neighborhood.
