On February 15, Cultural Exchange Network (CENET) will host a Welcome Reception from 5-7 pm at 338 Broadway St. 6th floor, Cape Girardeau, MO 63701.
The Welcome Reception--open to the public and free of charge-- will give community members an opportunity to tour CENET’s new office space at Codefi, meet and mingle with the CENET staff, and sample food and drinks from around the world.
Heavy hors d'oeuvres inspired by Asian recipes, European craft beers, and South American wine selections will be available to guests; these special selections are provided by CENET and our event sponsors: Cafe n’Me, Tandoor Indian Grill, and Primo Vino.
CENET is a non-profit organization that serves as a U.S. State Department authorized J-1 visa sponsor. As a local initiative, CENET facilitates Culture in the Community (CITC), a program that aims to provide authentic, international education to area schools and groups. Lastly, CENET operates The Magellan Exchange, a study abroad program for students and faculty from universities worldwide, including Southeast Missouri State University.
CENET strives to inspire a safer, more prosperous and compassionate world through international education and cultural exploration.
