Cape West Rotary Club recognized and honored four Paul Harris Fellows at their regular meeting Thursday, July 11 at the Elk's Lodge in Cape Girardeau.
Paul Harris Fellows are recognized as those who have donated $1,000 or more to the Rotary Annual Programs Fund, PolioPlus or Humanitarian Grants Program through Rotary International.
Donors can choose to honor someone else with the award, as was done in all four honorariums Thursday.
Receiving the Paul Harris Fellows were Connor Kennard, grandson of Rotarian Rick Kennard; Mindy Glaus (not pictured), daughter-in-law of Rotarian Norman Glaus; Peyton Young, grandson of Rotarian Jim Young, pictured with his father, Mike Young; and Judy Schneider, wife of Rotarian Steve Schneider.
Cape West Rotary Club also honored outgoing president Tedd Powers and Rotarian of the Year, Darren Burgfeld.
Rotary International is a global service organization focused on the motto, "Service Above Self." More information on Rotary and the Cape West Rotary Club is available online at www.capewestrotary.org.
