The Cape River Heritage Museum received a 2018 Richard S. Brownlee Grant from the State Historical Society of Missouri. The five-hundred dollar grant is for the preservation of historical records and will be used for the purchase of archival supplies to store or display personal papers, photographs, maps or other materials. The check was presented to Margaret Ford, Director, Cape River Heritage Museum by Dr. Bill Eddleman, Associate Director, Cape Girardeau Research Center, State Historical Society of Missouri.
