Recently, the students of Cape Christian School packed over 10,000 meals for the ministry of Kids Against Hunger. Students in Pre-K through grade eight worked to decorate boxes and pack meals which were sent to the victims of Hurricane Matthew in Haiti. The students raised over $2,500 to purchase the needed ingredients. Each grade met their goal of $250 per class to fund this effort. This experience was invaluable to our students who learn that at every age, one can give and serve. While participating in this worthy cause, faces of our students radiated with joy and enthusiasm. They knew they were meeting a need and making a difference in the lives of others desperate for help. Ultimately, they were serving the Lord by serving others.
