The Cape Central High School varsity Scholar Bowl team finished first at the North County Invitational on Saturday, November 20, defeating Poplar Bluff in the championship game by a score of 280-160. Nicknamed the "Central Intelligence Agency", the CIA also defeated Jefferson, North County, Notre Dame, and Festus on the way to the championship. Prithvi Rudrappa was top scorer for the Tigers, and made the all-tournament team. Owen Hill and Chelsey Caudle, seniors, and juniors Lizzie Nussbaum, Kelsey Martin and Brooke Baugher also competed for Central.
