This is the 16th year that the Brazeau Historical Society has put on the Old Fashioned Christmas Walk. The entire village of Brazeau is decorated for the season. This year a new event is going to be added - A Night in Bethlehem. Take in the sights, sounds and smells of Bethlehem the night Jesus was born. Walk the streets of Bethlehem, take part in the census, find a room to stay in the crowded city, visit shops such as a spice shop, fishing net repair shop, and the wreath shop. Then find your way to the living nativity to visit the Christ child. There will also be Christmas concerts performed at the church at 4pm & 6pm. A craft fair is at the community hall. Get sandwiches, refreshments, and baked goods at Aunt Carries Tea House. All the historic buildings are open and decorated for the season. Over 300 luminaries will light the pathways. Then the Hemman Winery will be open late to great all the town guest. This truelove is a magical evening. Monetary donations are accepted to the Brazeau Historical Society. Brazeau, Mo. is a tiny village in East Perry County Missouri settled in 1819.
