Burfordville Baptist Church hosted a Block Party Saturday, May 1st from 11:00 am -- 3:00 pm. Despite the forecast of 80% chance of thunderstorms the church believed God still controls the weather. It was like God put an umbrella over Burfordville. We heard reports of rain and storms all around us, at most we may have had twenty minutes of sprinkles all day.

Close to 200 people attended the event. There was good food, games, prizes, music, hay rides, snow cones, popcorn, Bibles and much more all free to those who attended. Our goal is to show the love of Christ to our community as stated in our mission statement "Your Bridge to the Son". The church worked hard showing great faith and a cooperative spirit. We would like to thank all those who helped us with this event. We would also like to invite you to come and grow with us.
