Bark the Blue

To show appreciation for the Cape Girardeau Police Department Rob Rueseler & Associates, a local insurance and financial planning firm is sponsoring Bark the Blue. On March 20, 2017 the office will be offering Bark the Blue t-shirts for a $10 donation to the Cape Girardeau Police Department's K-9 fund.

The t-shirts were designed by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. The shirts are navy blue and are made of dry-weave material. A large range of adult-sized shirts are available. A limited number of children's cotton t-shirts will also be available.

100% of the money collected will go to the Cape Girardeau Public Safety Foundation to help the police department purchase new K-9 dogs. The department recently retired K-9 Reno. K-9 Schupo is scheduled to be retired March 2018. The cost of a dog and training is $12,000-$14,000 per dog.
