What in your background or education makes you qualified for this office?

I have been a public figure through my work , church affiliations and helping on various boards with United Way through Coca -Cola. I have grown very close to many wonderful students and parents through my local Barbershop and have come to appreciate and care for them . Through there encouragement and support my sole purpose for running is for there well being and education.

What do you believe is the greatest challenge facing your school district?

My goal is to work with the existing board to further the schools ability to provide a quality education for every student that calls Advance home. I believe if one child leaves our school unprepared we have failed as a board and as a district.

If elected, do you have any plans for improving the school district?

I believe there are programs that are available for students who want to further there career that help with College courses through enrollment or academic achievements that will help offset college costs. Transitioning to a more technological teaching base with the use of laptops will help students with the changing workforce once out of school. Helping hearing , visual or any disabled child get a quality education available to all students of Advance Schools.
