For untold years the Missouri department of corrections has grossly discriminated against the disabled inmate population. they have no treatment programs that are designed for or allow for the vast inmate population who suffer from disabilities of some type or another.

Instead the Missouri department of corrections conspire with the state of Missouri's private for profit medical contractor to remove all these disabled inmates medical restrictions in order to send them to treatment facilities that are not designed for or allow for their medical needs and disabilities.

I was supposed to have served 4 years four months of my sentence to be eligible to be released on parole. instead because i am disabled and discriminated against because of my disabilities I was forced to spend nine straight years in prison.

The most amazing part of my story is that after the second time I had all my medical restrictions physically taken so that my transfer could be approved to one of these treatment centers that did not allow for or accommodate for my medical needs and disabilities (and my scheduled release date taken and extended for my not being physically able to attend this program) I filed an Americans with disabilities act "ADA" complaint under the civil rights act in federal court against the Missouri department of corrections, the Missouri board of probation and parole, correctional medical services, and the Kansas city community center and I found myself up against not only the law firms of Holbrook & Osborn, and Husch Blackwell but also found that the Missouri attorney general's office was defending these people who had discriminated against me because i am disabled (as well as thousands of other mo. inmates)against me in my lawsuit. I had always been under the impression that the Missouri attorney general's office was sworn to uphold and protect the laws of Missouri and the constitution of Missouri and the united states. instead I find that not only are they condoning the illegal actions of these people but that they are also defending them against me who is not a lawyer and is trying to stop this from happening to others.

I have offered numerous times to show the Missouri attorney general's office the irrefutable proof I have that this has been going on for year upon year against thousands of disabled inmates and even called them out on their sworn duties to uphold and protect the laws and the constitution. not defend people who clearly violate these laws---only to be ignored.

I am not a lawyer or even trained in any way in the law. I'm just a person like you who found myself endangered and discriminated against solely because I was disabled. But, imagine my shock and surprise when I found that the vast resources of our attorney generals office are being used to protect and defend people who clearly violate the law as well as the constitution against me. I can only wonder how that can ever be justified from our attorney general and what the real priorities and duties that are on their agenda.
