When Julie (Brockmeyer) and Don James celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in October, it made the added years of all the Brockmeyer family's marriages a total of 400 years. When Julie (Brockmeyer) and Don James celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in October, it made the added years of all the Brockmeyer family's marriages a total of 400 years. The family members are Al and Ruth Brockmeyer of Hawk Point, Mo., Bert and Paul Essner of Benton, Mo., Frieda and Joe Seyer, Julie and Don James and Dot and Paul Summers, all of Cape Girardeau, Theresa and Joe Schreckenberg of Hillsboro, Mo., and Frances and Joe Willenbring and Millie and Charles Seyer, all of Jackson. The oldest in the family, Sister Rose Brockmeyer, celebrated 60 years as a Notre Dame nun before her death in August, 2009. Their parents, Frank and Mary Eeftink Brockmeyer, were married 60 years before Frank's death in 1983.
