The 12th Annual Retired Senior Volunteer Program/Volunteer Intergenerational Center Golf Tournament was held on Friday, July 16, at noon at the Cape Jaycees Golf Course. 25 teams played in this year's annual golf tournament.
The team of Janie Slaten, Brett Slaten, John Oliver and Austin Hunter won Flight A - First Place with a score of 55. Flight A - Second Place Winners were Trae Brotherton, Andrew Mothershead, Brevin Giebler, and Matt Seabaugh with a score of 56. Beatrice Mashek, Stuart Mashek, Doug Murakami, and Dylan Murakami placed First in Flight B with a score of 66. Charles Meyer, Matt Henson, Josh Wheeler, and Jake Wheeler placed Second in Flight B with a scorecard tiebreaker on Hole #15.
Contest Prize Winners were Charles Meyer (Longest Putt), Cliff Barlow (Longest Drive), Norris Johnson (Closest to the Pin, and Sissy Donahue (Closest to the Line).
