Alleluia, He Is Risen

After Ash Wednesday Mass on March 2, Father Kelly came over to Guardian Angel School in Oran, with the students and teachers lining the hallway. He was carrying the "Alleluia" board. He brought the "Alleluia" out to the front of school, with the students and teachers following, dug a hole, and buried the "Alleluia", while all sang a song. Alleluia was not to be talked about or said until after Easter.

On April 21, after 8 am Mass, the students and teachers once again lined the halls. Father Kelly headed out to the front of school followed by all the teachers and students. A shovel was given to Cooper Bryant from 8th grade so that he could dig up the Alleluia. Father held up the Alleluia board and the onlooking crowd clapped and sang "Jesus Christ Is Risen Today".

Jesus Christ has truly risen from the dead!! Alleluia, Alleluia!
