THE PUBLIC MIND:SERVICEMAN IN GULF THANKS CITIZENS FOR CARDS, LETTERS

This article comes from our electronic archive and has not been reviewed. It may contain glitches.

Dear Southeast Missourian Readers:

I would like to thank each and every one of you who have written and sent care packages to me while on duty in Saudi Arabia. I wish I could write all of you back individually, but I probably wouldn't accomplish much work.

It means a lot to me, and I'm sure every other American service member now serving in the Gulf region to know we have the support of not only our family and friends, but of the American people as a whole.

Hopefully this crisis in the Middle East will be resolved peacefully, but if not, we are all prepared and ready to do what our government has trained us for.

Once again I would like to thank you and wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Air Assault!

Spec. David L. Fales
