LETTERS: SIGN OF THE LAST DAYS

To the editor:

In some areas of this great United States of America, some biology classes no longer allow dissecting of frogs, but according to the partial-birth abortion bill that was vetoed we are allowed to "dissect" babies in the birth canal. How barbaric has we become in this country? Is life now considered worthless except for insects and animals?

Perhaps some of you think the work "dissect" is a little too harsh, that a less offensive word such as abortion is more suitable. We can use the word "dissect" to experiment on animals, but heaven help us if we use such a harsh word for murdering babies whose lifeless bodies are being used for experimentation. Wake up. It is happening.

When life becomes worthless, will it become acceptable to murder? Where does it end? If we allow the murder of innocent babies, why not murder the elderly, the retarded, the poor, the hard of hearing, the blind, the alcoholics, the drug addicts, those we dislike (although some of us murder with our tongues), those we disagree with, the Democrats, the Republicans, the retarded or those who appear genetically to physicians to be prime candidates for some serious disease?

We are definitely living in the last days, not the end of the world, but the end of an age where there will be great tribulation on earth for seven years prior to the 1,000-year reign of Jesus Christ on planet Earth. Hallelujah!
