LETTERS: FUEL ISSUES

To the editor:

Your recent editorial regarding the low fuel prices and how the market communicates information regarding supply and demand raises some questions.

Do you really believe that oil exploration, refinement and sales are free of "government meddling?"

Since oil is a non-renewabel resource, can we not expect the market to reverse itself at some point in time?

Does it make sense to choose less fuel-efficient vehicles now, speeding up the day when gasoline costs become prohibitive?

Is the market communicating a shortage of trial lawyers, since you find their fees to be so out of line?
