LETTERS: YOUNG MOTHER MAKES RIGHT CHOICE

To the editor:

A kiss from the cross was given to a brave young mother-to-be recently after she made the heroic decision to keep the baby that she is carrying as she law on the table of the abortionist. The pressures must have been enormous to have brought her to that table. But God was not going to allow her to make the most tragic mistake of her life.

I am sure she was very frightened, but the loving members of her church would not allow her to hurt herself so deeply. They kept up constant prayers for her. When the news came that she had courageously gotten off that awful table of death, I am sure there were many tears of joy for one soul saved, one baby given the gift of life.

Although, no doubt, it will not be easy for this young lady, I know that her friends will support her through everything. May God bless this special young lady as he has surely blessed her child.

If she should read this letter, I hope she will contact the Crisis Pregnancy Center at 335-8495 and Birthright at 335-0750 for all the help she will need in addition to that which her friends will lovingly provide. I give my love to this young lady. She has earned my admiration for her tremendous faith in God's mercy and love, for doing his will and for her strength of character.
