LETTERS: OSPREY'S SAFETY SHOULD BE MAIN MILITARY OBJECTIVE

This article comes from our electronic archive and has not been reviewed. It may contain glitches.

To the editor:

The Marine generals wanted the Osprey to enhance strike force capability where speed faster than a helicopter is needed yet able to land where only a helicopter can land. The desire for greater strike performance and peer recognition has cost a loss of manpower. The Osprey needs to be studied and correctly maintained so it doesn't cost lives except, if necessary, for our defense.
