LETTERS>: VOTE FOR JACKSON BONDS

This article comes from our electronic archive and has not been reviewed. It may contain glitches.

To the editor:

This is an open letter to the good people of the Jackson School District.

Tuesday is another important day for our children and grandchildren of the Jackson School District. They are too young to vote, so they depend on us to help plat their future and assure them of a good start in life's adventures.

Being the ninth child of 12 in the Litzelfelner family to graduate from Jackson High School, my parents, Odus and Ethel, were as proud of that as the 10 living are. My own five children have graduated, and now my grandchildren are active and are in various grades in the Jackson School District. Our roots run deep in Jackson and in the Jackson School District.

To the people who do not have children, I can only tell you that your property is worth thousands of dollars more located in the Jackson School District versus the little increase in your taxes.

I urge you to support the school bond issue and vote yes in the upcoming election.

JACK M. LITZELFELNER
