Chris Best has been promoted to executive producer of Heartland News at KFVS-12.Best is in his third year of producing newscasts for KFVS. He is produces "Heartland News at Ten," weeknights, and previously served as weekend news producer. He has also assisted with special projects, local specials and the Heartland News on the Road series.Best, a graduate of Sikeston High School and University of Missouri-Columbia with a journalism degree, has been with the CBS Television network affiliate in the Cape Girardeau, Paducah, Ky., Harrisburg, Ill., television market since 1954.
