A grape-growing workshop will be held next month at Rend Lake Community College in Southern Illinois.The workshop, for beginning prospective new growers, will include an overview of the grape and wine industry in the state, market and economic considerations, site selection, and other aspects of vineyard practices.Rend Lake College is at Ina.Cost of the seminar is $20, which includes continental breakfast at 8:30 and handouts.
