Delta is a site development and highway contractor specializing in asphalt paving and road construction materials. In addition to construction activities, Delta produces aggregates, asphalt paving mixtures, emulsions and other asphalt-related products. The firm operates throughout Northeast Arkansas, Southern Illinois and Southeast Missouri, with its corporate office located in Cape Girardeau.

Delta supplies aggregates, or processed rocks, for asphalt pavement mixtures, ready-mix concrete and other construction activities from its numerous quarries, including a limestone quarry just south of Cape Girardeau at exit 93 off Interstate 55, a quarry in Williamsville serving the Greater Poplar Bluff area, a sand and gravel pit located in Dexter, Missouri, and its newest quarry in Jackson, Missouri, at exit 105 off Interstate 55.

The Heartland Materials Quarry, located in Jackson, became part of Delta last October to better serve its customers north of Cape Girardeau toward Perryville and Marble Hill. In addition to limestone products, this quarry also produces a high-quality agricultural lime, or “aglime.” This location will be a reliable source of the material for area farmers.

To continue growing for the future, ASA Asphalt joined the Delta Companies in March of this year. ASA is well-known and well-respected in the commercial and industrial sector throughout the Bootheel of Missouri. This acquisition brings more than a skilled workforce with experience and expertise; it also brings an additional Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) Plant located in Advance, Missouri, to Delta. This raises the count to four HMA plants in Missouri and to 11 plants overall.
