Leopold R-III Summer School Coders

Congratulations to the Leopold R-III Summer School Program for surpassing their goal of completing 100 hours of computer program coding. Summer school students in grades K-8th participated in on-line computer coding activities for a total of 104 hours! These activities were designed to encourage and promote an appreciation and interest in computer science. And to show students that computer programming is a fun and creative way to explore STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). A special thanks goes to the Leopold R-III High School Summer School Robotics Class for mentoring and assisting these students as they completed their coding experience.

Senior, Shelby Schreckenberg, mentors an elementary coder
