Academy Sports + Outdoors donates bikes to 25 Clippard Elementary students

Students from Clippard elementary received bikes and helmets from Academy Sports + Outdoors as part of their annual bike donation program.

On December 4th, Academy Sports + Outdoors donated bikes and helmets to 25 deserving students from Clippard Elementary as part of Academy's annual bike donation program. The program occurs throughout December across Academy's 15-state footprint and will benefit over 4,000 boys and girls at 120 separate donation events, similar to this one. The purpose of Academy's annual bike donation is to provide local schools with an opportunity to reward children during the holidays with bikes and helmets for perfect attendance, academic performance, good behavior, and/or need. Academy will donate over $250,000 in youth bikes and helmets this year. The bike donation fits with Academy's active-minded philosophy by rewarding kids with gifts that allow them to get outside and be active.
