Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. There is much going on right here close to home that might give us cause to lose hope or pause and ask why, but I am reminded there are things all around us, but usually further from home that are much worse than this. It seems we don't pay as much attention if it isn't quite so close to home. At least I realize that is sometimes the case with me. This Thanksgiving I pray that God blesses each of us- those we know and those we do not know, but should still consider our "neighbor". I pray that God comforts the hurting, places love in hearts instead of hate, tolerance instead of judgement, and above all- peace.
