The Cape Girardeau County Area Medical Society Alliance presented a check for $5,745 to the Be the Match Registry®, the national registry of potential bone marrow donors, on Monday, April 28. The money, raised from two drives in January, will help fund future Be the Match registry drives. Since 2011, local registry drives conducted by the Alliance have added 362 potential bone marrow donors to the registry. SoutheastHEALTH has been a major sponsor of the local registry drives.
