Tuesday, March 27, 2012

CAIRO, Ill. -- A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to restrict traffic to one lane on the U.S. 51 Ohio River bridge at Cairo starting today. The lane restriction is to allow several sections of guardrail to be repaired and replaced along the bridge deck. Weather permitting, the work should be completed in about a week.
