Closure of Ripley County bridge delayed

SIKESTON, Mo. -- Work to replace the Route B bridge over Buzzard Creek in Ripley County has been delayed one week. Weather permitting, work will begin Aug. 15. Route B will remain closed as construction is underway. Completion is anticipated in late September. Signs and warning devices will be in place, and motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
