Portions of Bainbridge, South Old Orchard roads reduced for paving
Sunday, August 7, 2011
On Tuesday, portions of Bainbridge Road and South Old Orchard Road in Jackson will be reduced to one lane to allow the city's contractor to perform asphalt rejuvenating maintenance on the roadways. On Bainbridge, the project area is between Donna Drive and South Oak Hill Road. On South Old Orchard, the project area is between Bainbridge Road and the start of construction, near the east water tower. There will be no parking on those roads on the day of treatment. Corrective Asphalt Materials LLC is scheduled to complete work on both streets in one day, between 7 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Operations will be delayed in the event of rain. For more information, contact public works director Rodney Bollinger at 243-2300.
