Illinois man extricated after Interstate 55 accident

An Illinois motorist suffered minor injuries Friday after he lost control of his vehicle and overturned on Interstate 55. The 68-year-old man had to be extricated, according to Sgt. Jason Selzer, Cape Girardeau Police Department spokesman, after the accident occurred just after 5 p.m. at the 94-mile marker.
