Illinois driver crashes into Cape Pizza Hut
Sunday, March 6, 2011
The solarium dining area at Pizza Hut on South Kingshighway lies in disarray Friday after the driver of a 2001 Saturn lost control and crashed through the wall. Josh Murray, 20, of Anna, Ill., was driving north on Kingshighway, he said, and took a sharp left turn into the Pizza Hut parking lot. Murray said he hit the gas instead of the brake, slid through the wet grass and struck the side of the building. He was not injured. A set of table and chairs was also damaged in the incident that occurred around 10 a.m. Pizza Hut was not open at the time of the crash, and no employees were injured.
