Oak Ridge FBLA Qualifies for State Competition

Oak Ridge FBLA Districts

Four FBLA members qualified and will be advancing to FBLA state competition April 17-19 in Columbia, MO. To qualify for state, a member must place 1st in a performance event or 1st or 2nd in a written event; except in Jacob Light's situation, the 2nd place competitor stepped down, so the achievement gets passed on to the next placed competitor. Fifth place winners have even attended state due to other circumstances. Dustin Oehl, 1st Spreadsheet Applications and 2nd Technology Concepts; Breanna McClellan, 2nd Personal Finance; Stephen Bolen, 1st Business Procedures; and Jacob Light, 3rd Networking Concepts are the four members that will be competing at FBLA state.
