James and Andrea Bowling decided to stay closer to home on a cool, cloudy day Saturday and take their children down to the Cape Girardeau riverfront instead of Elephant Rocks State Park. Emily Bowling, right, and her friend, Kaelyn Woodall looked for pebbles and young Jacob stayed close to his father as they all watched the traffic on the Mississippi River.
