Crown Hospice holds volunteer reception
Sunday, August 8, 2010
Recently Crown Hospice in Cape Girardeau held its 2010 volunteer reception for key members within the organization. This year's theme was "You are the Key Ingredient to our Sweet Success." The volunteers who were honored had collectively visited patients for nearly 400 hours and drove more that 5,300 miles to aid people in need. The volunteers were described as "marines of volunteers" because they will drop everything to care for a patient. Volunteers and Crown Hospice staff pictured from left are Judy Wilfong, Nancy Gillard, Mary Robinson, Candy Wilfong, Billie Jean Bowmam and Kirk Bowman.
