U.N.: 7 Darfur peacekeepers killed in ambush by horsemen

KHARTOUM, Sudan -- About two hundred gunmen on horseback and in sport utility vehicles ambushed peacekeepers from a joint U.N.-African Union force in Sudan's Darfur region, killing seven in fierce gunbattles that lasted more than two hours, U.N. officials said Wednesday.
