DEXTER, Mo. — A 36-year-old Dexter man died in a one-vehicle accident Sunday night, one mile north of Dexter on Route AD, the Dexter Daily Statesman reported. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, James Aaron Rogers apparently failed to negotiate a curve as he was northbound on AD. His vehicle, a 2004 Ford pickup truck, left the roadway and overturned, and Rogers was ejected from the vehicle. He was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident, according to the patrol. Stoddard County Coroner Morgan Sifford pronounced Rogers dead at the scene of the accident. Aaron Rogers is survived by a wife, Robin-Phelan Rogers, and two young daughters.
