Schwarzenegger faces obstacles to his new ideas

To the editor:

Kudos for Arnold Schwarzenegger. Now he gets to enjoy the attention of the truly vicious Democrats at the state level in California. They may fawn over him for a few days, mainly to determine his weaknesses. However, his neck is on the chopping block.

Despite the damage done to California and its need to recover quickly, legislators will find fault with everything Schwarzenegger proposes, and they will block all of it.

If California develops a booming economy, it will resurrect the rest of the states. A new day will dawn, and the people on the wrong side of history will rue the recall election and the loss of power for years to come.

This is the time for vast efforts to be expended to raise up California. The old ideas need to be scuttled.
