Community makes big meal possible

To the editor:

We wish to thank everyone who donated food, paper goods and plastic ware, who cooked turkeys, assisted in the kitchen preparing the turkeys and donated their time the night before and on Thanksgiving Day by setting up, cooking, serving, being a host or hostess, delivering meals or cleaning up -- all providing a holiday meal for more than 500 people.

Without the support of the community, a meal of this magnitude would not have been possible.
