~ The Notre Dame sophomore posted a time of 22.57 seconds in Farmington.
The fastest 200-meter dash of the season? There's no doubt it belongs to Notre Dame sophomore Mark Zimmer.
But while his time of 22.66 from the Jackson Invitational on April 8 is the fastest in a varsity meet this season in Southeast Missouri, it's not even his best run of the year.
Zimmer posted a time of 22.57 seconds on April 27 to win the Black Knights Relays, a junior varsity meet in Farmington, Mo.
Also at that meet, Notre Dame sophomore Jessica Banda ran the girls 1,600 in 5:39.27, a time that would rank among the area's top four.

Banda on Monday improved her school-record time in the 3,200 to 12:42.6 en route to a first-place finish at the Chester Invitational.
The Notre Dame boys finished first in the five-team meet and the girls placed second.
