Only Missouri residents will be eligible.

Kids ages 11 to 15 who have passed a hunter education course can purchase a resident spring turkey permit and hunt without the presence of an adult.

Kids ages 6 to 15 who have not passed that course must have a youth deer and turkey hunting permit and must be in the immediate presence of a licensed adult 17 or older. That adult must have a valid hunter education card.

Other regulations are the same as during the regular spring hunt. For example, shooting hours are one-half hour before sunrise to 1 p.m.
