POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. Westwood Hills Country Club's golf team won its third straight Southeast Missourian Cup Saturday on its own course with a minus-6 score of 562.

Kimbeland Country Club of Jackson took second with 573, Sikeston took third with 578 and Cape Girardeau Country Club took fourth with 585 points. Taking sixth was Kennett with 588, followed by Hidden Trails (Dexter) with 598 and the Bootheel Golf Club (Sikeston) with 629.

Westwood Hills tandem of Ben Godwin and Scott Spencer had the lowest overall score of 137. Mark McDowell and Mark Johnson posted the second-best score, a 138.

The Cup was divided into four, nine-hole variations of competition. The first nine holes was a scramble format, followed by Chapman, Scotch and Best-ball.

Godwin and Spencer scored the lowest in the Scotch competition with a 37. Bobby Godwin and Steve Shock of Poplar Bluff had the top best-ball score with a 33.
