The Notre Dame girls basketball team suffered its second loss in three days to a powerhouse squad.

Host Westminster Christian Academy of suburban St. Louis defeated the Bulldogs 65-47 Wednesday night.

That came after Dexter beat Notre Dame 74-42 Monday night.

Notre Dame fell to 18-5 while Westminster improved to 16-5.

"They're huge," said Notre Dame coach Renee Peters of a Westminster club that features three players taller than 6 feet.

Miranda Fowler led the Bulldogs with 10 points.

Sadie Stipanovich, a 6-3 senior, and 6-foot junior Hannah Stipanovich paced Westminster with 14 points apiece. Adrienne Horn, a 6-2 sophomore, added 13 points.

Meadow Heights 72, Scott City 49

Taylor Cureton poured in 26 points as visiting Meadow Heights rolled.

Emma Cook added 17 points for the Panthers (12-10), followed by Kiana Hotop with 12 and Haley Thorne with 11.

Alicia Kern paced the Rams (4-19) with 12 points. Shea Martin added 10.
